SUSPENDED SOFTBALL CONTEST BETWEEN RADFORD AND LIBERTY TO BE COMPLETED ON APRIL 28

RADFORD, Va. – Radford softball's home contest on March 23 with Liberty that was halted in the top of the eighth due to severe weather will be completed at RU Softball Field on April 28 at 6 p.m.

The Big South opener for both squads was tied at 3-apiece with one out in the top of the eighth.

With an 0-2 county on Liberty's Kaylee West, lightning was detected nearby. The game was stopped and about 20 minutes later a heavy downpour ensued and the game was officially postponed. The contest will resume from that exact moment.
