Stepping over from Roanoke College to assist Mickey Dean Softball, LLC, is Rick Anderson. Rick's responsibilities with the Maroon program include various softball clinics along with base running and other administrative duties. In addition, Anderson conducts coaching clinics around the Roanoke Valley. Anderson was one of the founders of the Virginia Renegades, and ran the program for seven years. In his last season, he guided the 18-under team to a top ranking in the state of Virginia (NSA). Currently, Anderson is a coach of the 23-under Renegades and brings 17 years of coaching experience to the Roanoke program.
