Where are the camps held?
At the Radford Softball Field or in the Radford Hitting Facility on Burlington Street when there is inclement weather.

Directions to Burlington Indoor Facility (From I-81):

Exit 109 (take left if you are coming northbound, right if coming southbound)
Take Tyler Road (VA-177) approximately 4-5 miles, going through two lights
At third traffic light take a right on Jefferson St. (steep down hill)
Follow Jefferson to four-way stop and take a right on Fairfax St.
Take third left onto Burlington
The facility (with red awning) will be on the right


Who are the coaches at the camp?

How do I get in touch with my child at overnight camp? Can I leave a message for my child while he/she is at camp?

Will my child be supervised at night?

Supervision is provided by the camp 24 hours a day.


What about roommate requests?

You may request a roommate by adding their name to your registration form.


How much spending money should I send with my camper?

We leave this to the parents’ discretion.  We do not recommend a large amount of cash.


Will the rooms have refrigerators?

Yes.


How many campers will there be in each room?

Up to 4 depending on the size of the room and beds available in each room.


Will my child be matched with his/her roommate preference?

Yes.


How will the campers get from the dorm to the field?

Depending on location of housing, campers will walk (with a camp staffer), or take a van or bus.


What are the refund procedures?
Refunds will be issued upon written request up to 72 hours before the start of the camp.


Can I pay a deposit to hold my camper's spot?

No. The full amount must be paid in order to reserve a spot.


Do I really need a physician's signature on these forms?

Physician’s – No
Parent/Legal Guardian - YES

What should my child bring to camp?

Campers are responsible for bringing their own glove, cleats, tennis shoes, catchers equipment (if applicable), bat and helmet (optional), swim suit, and sunscreen.
